Romeo And Juliet: A Tragic Love Story

Shakespeare’s tragedy Romeo-and-Juliet. Two star-crossed lovers find love. They are unfortunately cursed by fate and their tragic ending is bittersweet.

Romeo, a main character in ‘Romeo & Juliet’ is sensitive and impulsive. He is also an inexperienced, young and blind lover. Shakespeare wrote sonnets that expressed Romeo’s feelings about his circumstances. Romeo is a young lover who loves the idea of love, rather than the woman. Shakespeare describes him as inexperienced. This is because Romeo falls in Love at First Sight with Juliet at Capulet’s Party. Romeo realizes that he has never really loved Rosaline when he meets Juliet. Sight! / I never saw true beauty up until this night’ Act 1 Scene 5.

This is a form or rhyme. It tells us that Romeo loves foolishly.

Shakespeare’s Romeo characterisation teaches us that idealism is all about finding positives in everything. He doesn’t see anything wrong with Juliet becoming a Capulet. He simply wants to be close to her. Romeo would likely die if the public learned about Juliet’s relationship. Romeo, however, doesn’t seem to think twice. He is sensitive and takes care of his own feelings.

The tragedy of Romeo, Juliet is caused by many things. But they all involve fate and love. Romeo’s impulsiveness is what causes the tragedy to depict him. His impulsiveness makes tragic events possible. Romeo’s tragic fate is further exacerbated by his unrequited love of Rosaline. Romeo would not have fallen for Juliet if he had not been infatuated with her. Romeo’s fatal flaw lies in his impetuosity. He marries Juliet on the same day. A move that isn’t ideal or wise. Romeo kills Tybalt in revenge for Mercutio’s murder and must be exiled. Romeo’s love affair with Juliet led to him becoming unstable. To deal with the news, he purchased poison.

“To Juliet’s Grave, For There Must I Use Thee” (Act 5 Scene 1)

This quote shows Romeo’s hamartia. It is his insanity. Romeo’s impulsiveness and recklessness lead him to make an impulsive decision that will bring about his death. The fatal flaw of Romeo can lead to tragic future events.

To present Romeo’s character, I used many visual techniques. Bold text, which represents my character’s boldness, is one of the techniques I’ve used. My movie poster uses monochrome with low-key lighting. This creates shadows. My poster’s vector contains the portrait photo. To symbolise his suicide, I added a gradient in red. The poster includes the Romeo quote, “I challenge you stars”, and the title, “Romeo and Juliet”. My poster includes details such as the director’s name and the date of release. These elements are combined to make a poster for Romeo’s movie.

Unfortunately, Romeo & Juliet’s tragic ending was caused by fate against the couple of star-crossed lovers. Their love is marked by death, as the prologue states.
